At the beginning of every new season, I find myself staring at my closet looking for new ways to wear certain pieces. The changes in the weather feel like fresh starts and I love coming up with outfits that match the seasonal shifts. This past Fall/Winter I noticed that riding boots have regained popularity and, as a former riding boot fanatic, I couldn’t be more thrilled. As we head into spring, this boot remains a versatile option. Especially on those days that look like spring, but feel like winter. This year, I’ve been pairing my boots with two of my favorite items this season– mini dresses and wide leg pants! A modern look for a timeless shoe.
Like everyone lately, I’ve been obsessed with the wide leg silhouette. Even better if there is a slightly cropped hem. It shows off the boot a bit better and gives such an interesting shape.
When I’m not wearing my boots with wide leg pants, I love pairing them with mini dresses. I’ve been adding patterned tights and long coats to a neutral dress to really play up the contrast between the short hem and tall boot.
All in all, a fun take on a classic style!
