Warmer weather means it’s finally time for one of my absolute favorite outfit combinations: dresses and sneakers. To me, this is the ultimate comfort outfit. My favorite comfy sneakers plus a light linen dress equals the perfect look for those hot summer days when all style motivation has melted away. On days like today, when summer weather has come out in full force, it’s extra helpful to have this formula in my wheelhouse.
This outfit is also featuring a baseball cap (or, in this case, hockey cap?) to cover the rough hair day I was fortunate to experience. It’s always this time of year when I have to remind myself how to style my hair in the humidity. I’ll figure it out. Until then, this hat is the style mvp.
Looking back on this outfit, it’s quite obvious to me that if my personal style fits into any category, it’s definitely simplicity. I love an easily put together look. What could be easier than this three piece set? Dress, sneaker, hat. Check, check, check!
