These jeans are a classic example of why I tend to be a fashion hoarder. When I was going through my closet a few weeks ago, these pants were an almost definite donation. The pink pastel hue is not a color that I regularly wear, and I honestly cannot remember the last time I wore them. Before I added them to the give away pile, I thought I’d try them on for one last hurrah.
Long story short, they fit like a glove and I’m keeping them. However, if they’re going to continue to live in my drawer, I need to figure out how to style them in a modern way that doesn’t look so 2012. To give these pants a more updated spin, I’m leaning on tried and true favorites like a vintage t-shirt and penny loafers. A little mix of casual and put together. I also love the contrast of the deep grey with the pastel pink. I think it gives the pants a little more edge.
Full disclosure, it took me forever to come up with this outfit, so expect to see me wearing it all season long!
