March Favorites
The end of the month usually brings about a mixed bag of emotions. Excitement for the month to come, but also a sense of existential dread about the passing of time. It’s a balance ha! Thankfully, it’s finally spring, and the end of this month means we’re that much closer to summer. I can’t help but feel giddy! Until then, I’m focusing on everything that I love about the current season. Here are my March favorites!
Favorite Song– Panther City by Leon Bridges
It’s only March, but I already know that this is going to be my song of the summer. There’s something about Leon Bridges’ vocals that put me in the sunniest state of mind. I can’t wait until I can play this song with the windows open to let in the summer breeze.
Favorite Book– Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune
I promise this is the last time I’ll mention summer, but Meet Me at the Lake was the perfect read to get me even more excited for the season to come. This novel is told in the same spirit as her debut, Every Summer After, and features similar elements like second chance romance, a lake setting, and dual timeline. I completely devoured this book and I wrote a review of it that you can read, here.
Favorite Show/Movie– March Madness
Like much of the country, I’ve been swept up by the excitement of college basketball. I don’t even have a favorite team, but there’s something about the energy of the competition. It almost feels olympic level! The tournament lasts until the first week of April, and I’ll be glued to every game.
Favorite Snack– Mint Tea with Honey
When I was a kid, mint tea with honey was the ultimate sick remedy. Lately, I’ve been rewriting the purpose a bit, transforming this tea into an everyday treat. It’s such a refreshing drink that brings just the right amount of warmth on those chilly, early spring days.
Favorite Closet Item– Vintage Leather Jacket

This was easily my most worn item this month. It’s finally peak jacket weather, and I’ve been taking advantage of all the layering opportunities that I can. I love the versatility of this jacket and I’ve been wearing it with everything from jeans to dresses!
Favorite Beauty Product– Dippity Doo Curl Enhancing Mousse
I’ve always found mousse to be such a hit or miss product. I guess I feel this way about curl products in general. It seems like it takes forever and 500 trials until I finally find what works. After having a very strong love-hate relationship with mousse, this one from Dippity Doo feels like a holy grail product. It’s got strong hold without the crunch, and it smells divine! When I say it smells like laundry detergent, I mean that as the highest compliment! I also love how well it encourages my natural curl pattern. I’ve gone through so many products that just haven’t delivered, so finding this one feels like a victory!
