July Favorites 2025
Hello July, goodbye July. This has felt like the shortest month of the year. I feel like the first was just yesterday, and we’re already approaching August. July was full of good things, the days flew by, and I feel like I could barely catch my breath. I love these monthly favorites posts, especially when I feel like the year is rushing by. They force me to take a breath, remember all the good things from the month, and enjoy the present moment. August is just around the corner, but here are my July Favorites for 2025.
Favorite Song- Till the Right One Comes by John Mayer
I think I’ve already mentioned my love for the entire Sob Rock album, and I’m here to say that I’m still actively playing it on repeat. This month, the song du jour has been Till the Right One Comes. There’s just something so achingly hopeful about this song. Listening always leaves me in the best mood.
Favorite Book- Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazelwood
Say what you will about Ali Hazelwood’s romance novels. Predictable? Cheesy? Sure. But I don’t care. There’s something about her formula that has me hooked. This is her latest release, and I found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable beach read. I’m working on a longer review, so stay tuned for more on this one.
Favorite Show/Movie- Roman Holiday
This month I watched Roman Holiday for the first time. It’s such an iconic movie, I don’t know how it took me so long to see it. But here we are. There is something so overwhelmingly lovely about Audrey Hepburn, and I loved watching her galavant across Rome, chop off her hair, and discover herself.
Favorite Snack- Cold Brew
Are you at all surprised? It’s been painfully hot outside, but at least we have cold brew! I’m an iced coffee year round kind of girl, but cold brew on a humid summer day somehow tastes better.
Favorite Closet Item- Ice Cream Dress
This just might be the most fun dress I’ve ever owned. I can’t wait to discover new ways to wear it all season long!
Favorite Beauty Product- Red Nail Polish
I love a classic red nail. I’ve tried to branch out and try other colors, and I always end up coming back to my favorite hue. This month, I’ve been loving OPI’s Big Apple Red.
