It’s Capris Season

It’s officially the days of peak transitional weather. We all know that in-between weather calls for a pair of pants that is similarly undecided. That’s right, it’s capris season! Are these pants still trendy? Or am I clinging to something that never was? Either way, I don’t really care. I’m here to report that the capri has me in a choke-hold for yet another season.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: there is no pant better suited to transitional weather than this one. Cold in the morning, but hot in the afternoon? No problem. Capris are both a pant and a short.

It’s funny how quickly I switched from being staunchly anti-capri to being a number one fan. I think I just had to find a way to style them that felt like me.

This is a prime example of the importance of experimentation in personal style. Sometimes something you’ve written off turns out to be the greatest surprise of all.
