A Little Touch of Camp

How often can I wear this Twilight t-shirt without burning out? So far, the limit does not exist. The graphic tee has made its triumphant return to my closet, and I am fully embracing my inner fangirl. I used to think I’d outgrown the graphic t-shirt, but I’ve come to find out that a little touch of camp is timeless.

You know how they say a picture is worth a thousand words? That’s how I feel about this t-shirt. What more can I say about a t-shirt that so clearly speaks for itself? I’ve always loved a good graphic t-shirt. Even better if said shirt is proclaiming something that I love. However, in recent years, I’ve drifted away from these shirts in favor of more ‘sophisticated’ pieces. But I’ve quickly learned that those two things don’t have to be mutually exclusive. This is my summer take on a Twilight fan, but grown up.

To further highlight the t-shirt, I paired it with my favorite pair of denim cut-offs. I am of the firm belief that black and light wash denim are a match made in heaven. It’s such a sharp contrast that takes some of my favorite winter pieces and gives them a summer twist.

My beloved penny loafers round out the outfit and give things a slightly elevated flair. The result is a low-key, grown up version of something my thirteen-year-old self would love.
