One Sweater 5 Ways – Day 3 has me craving a little monochrome. After all, nothing screams October like an all black look. With fall weather finally upon us and Halloween just around the corner, October is decidedly the moodiest month of the year. To match the vibe of the season, I’ve pulled out a monochromatic look featuring the sweater of the week.
I love wearing monochromatic looks no matter the season, but all black in the fall always feels a little festive. This outfit is perfect for those days when it’s hard to come up with something inventive, and for when I’m looking for a break from a streak of blue denim.
Speaking of denim, I’m loving the straight leg at the moment. It’s the perfect change from a wider silhouette, but not as restrictive as a skinny. It shows off the loafer and adds a streamlined look to the puffed sleeve sweater. I can’t help but feel effortlessly chic in this outfit.
I feel like I will always have a goal to add more color to my wardrobe but in the end, all black always wins. There’s just something about the monochrome that makes me feel like I’ve absorbed all of the spooky vibes of the season. It’s easy, it’s comfortable, and it just feels right for this Wednesday morning.
