Skort Take Two

Over the years, I’ve tried to develop a certain level of intentionality when it comes to shopping. Gone are the days of regular seasonal hauls. In their place, I’ve made a point of letting an item marinate in my mind for a while. Not only has this helped curb impulsive spending, but it has also helped me find more joy in the items that I do purchase. One such success story is my new Zara skort. I hate to say I’m obsessed with it because that particular adjective feels overly cliche. However, I can’t stop thinking about it, so obsessed feels apt.

Whenever I buy something new, I style it once and then exclusively rewear that specific outfit. This happened with my black t-shirt/penny loafers combination. While I find no shame in the outfit repeat game, there is more than one way to wear a skort.

To keep things simple and summer minded, I went for a linen tank and a ballet flat. Nothing too crazy. In fact, this look gives off such an effortless vibe, you’d have no idea that it took me ages to create!
