Summer’s Last Hurrah

Normally I’d be upset about the summer heat encroaching on my favorite season, but this year is different. Just as I was lamenting the loss of summer weather, the hot temperatures have returned for one final run. I’m taking advantage of summer’s last hurrah by styling a few seasonal favorites for this transitional weather.

I went from dressing in light jackets and jeans, to a tube top and shorts all within the same week. It’s that time of year when all seasons are represented in the same 7 day span, and I’m just trying to keep up.

Today’s weather screams summer, so I’m pulling together a few items that I’ve wanted to squeeze in one last time before the weather permanently shifts.

I’m surprised that I’m so accepting of this late stage summer weather. Maybe it’s because I know that once the cold weather arrives I’ll be dreaming of days just like this. Sitting outside, sipping my coffee while enjoying the sunshine. As it turns out, pumpkin coffee tastes just as delicious iced!
