Same Outfit Different Day

I have never been shy about being an outfit repeater. It’s practical, it’s realistic, and on days when you just don’t have any outfit inspiration, recycling old looks feels like a soothing balm. Today’s look is reflective of today’s mood. A little understated, a little quiet, and extremely comfortable. It’s a chilly February Monday and I’m feeling all the feels. It’s a same outfit, different day kind of vibe.

I think it’s obvious by now that the jeans/t-shirt/sneaker combo is my comfort look. There’s something so soothing about wearing old familiar favorites. If the denim and sneakers are well loved and worn in, even better!

Because today has felt like a Monday in all respects, comfort is key. On days like today, I’m not looking for flashy. It’s all about what feels right. Something I’m learning in 2025 is to be gentler with myself. It’s ok if I wake up and an outfit just isn’t coming together.

This morning, I’m leaning on worn-in denim and soft knits. This sweater from Everlane is the ideal elevated sweatshirt. It’s made of 100 percent wool, and somehow is not itchy in the slightest. Magic!

To combat the rainy weather, I’m adding a baseball cap to mask the inevitable frizz. The overall look is nothing to write home about, but it’s just what I needed on this February morning.
