One Top 3 Ways

I recently wrote a post about my favorite closet item this summer, and while I still believe that this was the summer of the silk skirt, the linen-blend tube top came in a close second. I ordered this top in May, and I’ve been finding new ways to style it all summer. It’s such a simple and versatile top that has had me feeling inspired all season long. While I’ve discovered many ways to style this item, there are a few that have been in my rotation on repeat. Here’s how I’ve been styling one top 3 ways!

Dressed Up To Go Out

This is the first outfit that I drafted up when I purchased this top. I love the clean lines, the simple elegance, and the ease of the all black look. To take this to the next level, I’d also add a bold red lip for an extra pop.

Everyday Chic

One of my favorite parts about this top is the versatility. It can be dressed up for a night out, and just as easily dressed down for an everyday look. Here, I’ve paired my favorite pair of denim cut offs with a simple sandal to create a casual, but put together vibe.

Fall Inspired

It’s September, and that means we’re finally starting to get some of that cool fall weather. I always love this time of year. It’s my favorite season for many reasons, but a big one is that I get to pull out my denim collection! I’ve loved taking this summery top and pairing it with fall staples like these wide leg Levi’s. It’s the perfect transition look for that time of year that’s not quite summer, not quite fall.

It’s funny that one of my favorite pieces of the season turned out to be a tube top. I’m not normally a fan of strapless things. I find them uncomfortable and it gets annoying having to pull it up every five seconds. However, this little top is the exception to the rule. It’s such a flattering and comfortable length, it’s made out of a breezy linen-blend, and the neckline is lined with an anti-slip strip that keeps everything in place. The versatility of this made it easy to style one top 3 ways, and as we head into the fall/winter seasons, I’m excited to find new ways to wear this staple. (Think under a blazer, or over a turtleneck. Eeep! I can’t wait!)
