One Sweater 5 Ways – Day 5
We’ve reached Day 5 of the One Sweater 5 Ways series. Friday’s look is featuring a pair of dark wash boot cut jeans. It feels like this is the only denim style that hasn’t been featured this week, so I was thrilled to bring them out for this Friday outfit. A touch of weekend vibes to bring up the mood on this October Friday.
This is a pair of jeans that I love but don’t wear too often. The boot cut feels very specific, and I have to be intentional with how I style it. Here I’ve gone as basic as can be– the sweater of the week and a pair of brown suede boots.
I could have gone the monochromatic route with a black boot, but I thought I’d warm up the outfit with this brown pair. It’s a simple switch, but it feels a little out of the box for me. I’m experimenting with a little bit of new this season and so far, that looks like wearing brown with black.
On this last day of the One Sweater 5 Ways series, I can’t help but fall in love with this sweater all over again. It seamlessly transitions into this new season, and it looks great with any and all denim. A little experimentation, a little creativity, and any wardrobe piece can be given new life! This sweater was a consistent wear last fall and so far, it’s looking like nothing’s changed.
