How to Style Yellow Pants

There has never been a pair of pants quite so vexing to me as this yellow pair. I’ve had them for a while now, and finding ways to style them always seems to take the upmost brain power. But as I’m slowly coming to learn, the best way to style yellow pants is to not think so hard about how to style yellow pants.

The goal of today’s look is to let the yellow stand out in the most obvious way. If I’m being honest, I’ve always found a color this vibrant to be just a bit intimidating. But for this outfit, I decided to fully lean into it. Would you believe that when I stopped trying so hard to water down the yellow, it became so much easier to actually style it? Go Figure.

I guess the moral of this outfit is to embrace things as they are. And to wear the items in your closet that you’re scared to wear. This look is simple with a twist, and a little out of my comfort zone, but the yellow is growing on me!

Bright and sunny is the theme of this Monday, and I have to admit… I’m kind of loving it.
