How to Style Chartreuse
What better way to escape the blahs of Monday than with a little pop of color! I’m learning how to style chartreuse this season, because if I’m going to wear more color, it may as well be as far out of the box as possible. Thankfully, polka-dots and this vibrant color seem to be a match made in heaven!
Full disclosure, I initially reached for a black sweater this morning in place of the green one. It’s what comes naturally, and while that option would work perfectly too, there’s something about this vibrant pop of color that has me obsessed!
Not only is the color radiating spring, but this knit is perfect for the season’s transitional weather. This is that time of year where we may experience multiple seasons in one week, so this outfit reflects the need to prepare for any and all climates. The light knit of the sweater makes for the ideal spring layering piece, while the breezy fabric of the dress keeps things cool.
It’s a simple combination that somehow feels like a radical change. All because of a chartreuse sweater. It’s funny how such a simple change can have such a drastic impact on my mood. Maybe there’s something to this wearing-more-color thing! The polka-dots don’t hurt either.
I think this might be my favorite outfit of 2025 so far!
