How I’m Styling Blundstones

Hello October! This month has always felt like the true beginning of fall. Pumpkins are out, spooky season is here, and leaves are finally changing colors. When I think of October, I can’t help but think of misty weather, foggy mornings, and crushed leaves covering the sidewalk. Boot weather in its purest form. To usher in this new month, I’m bringing out a favorite pair of fall boots, my Blundstones. These are a fall wardrobe staple, and every year I’m looking for updated ways to wear them. I’ve experimented with a few different looks with varying degrees of success, and this outfit has emerged as an early fall favorite. Here’s how I’m styling my Blundstones.

Blundstone is probably most famous for their original high top boot, but I wanted a little extra height so I bought the heeled version.

In the past, I habitually wore these boots with either a skinny or straight leg jean. These days, I’m loving how they look with a cropped wide leg. This hemline still shows off the shoe, but in a more updated fashion. To add some visual contrast, I’ve chosen a white jean for a little brightness, and a leather jacket to match the boot.

This outfit makes me feel all of the cozy vibes. It also makes me feel like I should be buying apple cider at the farmer’s market. Or listening to some kind of fall inspired folk music.

Anyway, these boots are a seasonal favorite for a reason. They go with everything, they have a durable sole, and they keep my feet warm on those chilly October mornings.

I love October for many reasons, and boot weather is at the top of the list!
