Have I Mentioned Suit Shorts

Have I mentioned suit shorts? I’m kidding. I can’t seem to stop mentioning suit shorts. This pair has gone from being a last-resort wear, to an everyday staple, seemingly overnight.

Every season seems to have a particular closet item that shines above the rest. Last fall/winter it was the revival of the riding boot. This summer, it’s looking like the suit short.

One of my favorite things about these shorts is their ability to dress up an ordinary t-shirt outfit. When it gets hot outside, especially during these extreme heat waves, any motivation for wearing something more complicated than a t-shirt and shorts completely goes out the window. Thankfully, suit shorts have been the season’s saving grace.

This is my favorite way to wear these shorts. A tank top, sunglasses, and sandals. In this heat, it’s all you need.
