Capris for Fall
Styles may come and go, but there are certain trends that you will have to pry from my cold, dead hands. One of those trends is the 90s aesthetic. As a lover of minimalist fashion, the 90s style is a dream come true. All of those clean lines, neutral colors, and leather. Ugh. It’s simply divine. Recently, I’ve been loving adding a few pieces, and repurposing old ones, to fall in line with this trend. One of these newer acquisitions is my pair of capris. This vintage style was a new addition to my summer wardrobe, and now that the temperatures have dropped, I’m figuring out how to style capris for fall.
All of these months later, I’m still enjoying this controversial denim shape. I love this hemline. It’s comfortable and just unique enough to bring a level of intrigue to an everyday outfit.
Styling these for the summer was easy. Just throw on a pair of espadrilles and a cute puff sleeve or off the shoulder blouse, and you’ve got a simply cute outfit. Now that the weather is getting colder, creating outfits around these pants is not as simple.
To keep things uncomplicated, I decided to stick to the basics. Black flats and a cozy cardigan. The result is an easy and classic look, perfect for this transitional season.
I love when I’ve finally cracked a difficult wardrobe piece. It feels like a whole new world of creativity is within reach! This look is reminding me of how much fun it is to be a little experimental with fashion.
Who knew that styling capris for fall would be so unexpectedly playful?
