A Case for Monochrome
Whenever I’m at a loss for what to wear, I find myself leaning on what’s easy and what’s comfortable. Simplicity is key, and what could be simpler than all one color?
I’m a huge fan of monochromatic dressing. There’s something so casually chic about wearing one color from head to toe.
When I need something put together in a pinch but I’m feeling tired of creating something new, I’ll just throw on a solid color look and call it a day. I normally go with an all black outfit. It’s easy, it’s chic, and I have a lot of black pieces to choose from.
However, today I thought I’d take that idea and flip it around. All white for an easy and breezy spring look. Technically I should be wearing white shoes here, but I feel like that would have made the vibe a little too Wimbledon. Instead, I’ve added a classic black penny loafer. The contrast between the black loafers and the crisp white is *chef’s kiss* The perfect, easy, thrown together look.
