When in Doubt, Denim on Denim
Recently I’ve been obsessed with the idea of repeating textured fabrics. It’s no secret that I love a monochromatic look, but instead of all one color, what about all one fabric? Ok, so this idea is far from revolutionary. The Canadian tuxedo is famous for a reason.
You just can’t go wrong with denim. It’s basically a neutral, it pairs well with everything, and you can find a way to wear it for almost any occasion. I’ve seen this denim on denim trend across Pinterest lately, and I was inspired to make this classic look my own.
Here I’ve paired a classic white t-shirt with a denim coat, my favorite pair of Levi’s, and some suede booties. When I’m stuck looking for an outfit, I’ll be keeping this trend in mind. It’s easy, it’s neutral, and it feels effortless. When in doubt, denim on denim!
