One Sweater 5 Ways – Day 2
Here we are on Day 2 of the One Sweater 5 Ways style series. This outfit is inspired by the 70 degree weather we’ve been having lately. It’s chilly in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and chilly again when the sun goes down. When we seem to experience more than one season in a single day, I’ve found it’s easiest to dress for a little bit of both.
For today’s look, I’m playing around with the transitional weather by pairing this sweater with my favorite denim shorts. To soften up the outfit and maintain a fall feel, I threw on a pair of suede ballet flats. Ballet flats have been having a moment this year, and I’ve been adding them to as many looks as I can. Is there anything more classic than a ballet flat?
This outfit just oozes fun. I love the puffed sleeve of the sweater paired with the raw hem of the cutoffs. Throw in the dainty ballet flat, and the outfit is *chef’s kiss.* A study in contrast, and a perfect everyday look for this transitional weather.
