On Repeat
Is this outfit giving you deja vu? It’s essentially the same look from Galentine’s Day, but with a few minor edits to give the same pieces a new spin. I love when I can tweak an outfit to create something new from recycled parts. It takes a lot of the mental load off of getting dressed, and if you’re lucky, it can lead to looks you love enough to wear on repeat.

This sweater is the sweater of the moment. I’ve been loving it layered over a white t-shirt, on its own, with denim, with athleisure. The possibilities feel endless.
Today I’m taking it back to Galentine’s Day with an almost identical outfit. There are a few minor changes, but the rest is mostly repeat. Instead of layering the sweater over a t-shirt, I wore it on its own. I also replaced the Levi’s with my beloved barrel jeans.
I loved the original iteration of this outfit, but I think I love this version even more. It feels like the original outfit laid the groundwork that allowed this version to evolve into what it was always meant to be.
This look has reminded me that you don’t always have to do the most to achieve a well loved outfit. Sometimes less is all you need.
