From the Archives Pt 5
Here we are with From the Archives Pt 5. This post features a pair of Nike Blazers that I’ve had for a decade, and that I’ve worn on and off over the years. After a little brainstorming, I’ve created an outfit around this pair. This series continues to show me that sometimes old favorites produce the best outfits!
Can I just say that I’m obsessed with this outfit? I’m usually a fan of all the looks I post here, but this one feels exceptionally me. I love finding outfits like this. Outfits that not only look cute, but also feel like an extension of my personality. It’s the ultimate form of style expression!
The theme of this look is casual and decidedly sporty. I was feeling inspired by the skater vibe of the shoe, and I wanted to create a look that reflects that sense of effortless cool.
My first stop when creating this outfit was a classic wide leg jean. These Levi’s are easily some of my most worn denim, and for good reason. I love the ribcage waist, the spacious wide leg, and that classic denim blue. It’s the perfect pant dressed up or down, and I love how it looks with a high top sneaker. That’s not to say that I want to disguise the shoe, because I definitely don’t. I just love how the hemline sort of melts around the sneaker. It feels effortless.
To bring a little creativity to this jeans and t-shirt outfit, I’ve added fun accessories like a bright blue ball cap and a vintage bomber jacket. These pieces add just the right amount of intrigue to support the shoe and to keep things fun.
From the Archives Pt 5 has produced one of my favorite outfits yet. Be prepared to catch me wearing different iterations of this look all season long!
