February Favorites

And just like that, February has come to a close. This happens every year, February flies by in a flash, and it still catches me by surprise every time. Although the month was short, it was packed full of favorite things. Here are my February Favorites!

Favorite Song- Juna by Clairo

This song feels like the all of the warmer months condensed into musical form. There’s something so light and airy about this that makes me want to sit in the sun, or drive with the windows down. While warmer weather feels father and father away, in the meantime, this song is keeping that summer feeling alive.

Favorite Book- The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson

The Reappearance of Rachel Price is another twisty, suspenseful read from the author of the famed, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series. This book follows Bel Price as her family films a documentary about her mother’s mysterious disappearance. However, when Rachel miraculously reappears after 16 years, life as Bel knew it is flipped upside down.

This was the perfect YA thriller for a chilly winter day. The secrets, twists, and action kept me absolutely glued to each page. I easily devoured this book, and now I’m hoping it gets adapted into a TV series!

Favorite Show/Movie- Court of Gold

The only thing I love more than a good sports documentary, is an olympic sports documentary. There’s something about international competition that turns me into the most patriotic version of myself. I loved watching the olympics last summer, and this documentary brought back all of the feels.

Favorite Snack- Peanutbutter Pretzels

The first mistake was purchasing these addicting little pretzels. The second mistake, was purchasing the Costco sized box. Little pretzel pockets filled with peanut butter in a bite sized package. Sigh. They’re the perfect snack. This is one of those products that I’m going to have to ban from my kitchen. They’re too good.

Favorite Closet Item- Penny Loafers

This is a classic and dare I say, boring pick for a favorites post, but these were unequivocally my most worn shoe this month. This beloved pair from G.H. Bass has been a closet mainstay for years, and is my go-to pair for when I want something as comfortable as a sneaker, but a little fancier.

Favorite Beauty Product- Salt and Stone Deodorant

It may have taken me forever, but I’ve finally come around to trying Salt and Stone deodorant. If you’ve been anywhere on the internet, or in any store, you’ve probably seen some form of this product. The popularity and the price took me a while to get into it, but after using it for a few weeks, I have to say that it’s worth the hype. I got the scent Black Rose and Oud, and I love how soft and unique it smells. Especially in contrast to my usual Secret formula that smells a little like laundry detergent.

Xx, M
