Fall Mondays are for Leather

I love a good layering moment. Specifically fall layering. It’s that sweet spot in the year when you could use a jacket, but you’re yet in need of all the fixings of winter wear. It’s adding warmth without the overstimulation. A win all around! My favorite fall layering piece is easily a leather jacket. There’s something so classic and clean about this piece, and I’m thrilled that we’ve reached the season to wear it. Fall Mondays are for leather!

This outfit is featuring two of my fall favorites: a leather jacket and wide leg jeans. If I could wear different iterations of this look all season long, I would. Leather and denim is a classic combination for a reason. Although a main feature of this look is the jacket, I love that this outfit still feels transitional. The sandals and the t-shirt give off a warm weather vibe perfect for when the afternoon heats up.

As we ease further into the season, I’ll swap out the sandals for boots and add a hat, skinny scarf, or a turtleneck to match the weather. It’s an exceptionally versatile look for these in-between days.

Overall, the outfit is simple and understated, and I can’t help but feel effortlessly cool. These early fall Mondays are for leather!
