Carpenter Pants are My New Favorite
Carpenter pants are my new favorite pants. Well, technically this pair is an old favorite that has cycled around to become a new favorite. But I digress. I’d like to think of myself as a recovering fashion hoarder, but these pants are a prime reason of why I hold on to certain things. I’ve learned over the years that clothes tend to have off seasons. Just because something is no longer serving you in your present style, doesn’t mean that it won’t cycle around into something future you will absolutely love. This is what I repeatedly tell myself. Can you tell that I have a hard time clearing things out?

When I got dressed this morning, I was instantly reminded of why I love these pants so dearly. The loose fit and worn-in fabric make them feel almost like a sweat pant, the pockets are huge and plentiful, and the color is a wear anywhere with anything shade of cream.
I’ve had these pants for six years and, like a fine wine, they only get better with age. I get that maybe/someday isn’t always the best philosophy, but this frame of thought has served me well here. This pair of carpenter pants has emerged from the recesses of my closet to take center stage, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
