Buy All the Colors

Another day, another pair of Wrangler jeans. This post isn’t sponsored, I just think that if you love something, you should buy all the colors. These jeans are in the same Cowboy Cut as my dark wash pair, and I hemmed them to a similar length for that ankle skimming crop. The result is the exact same look just in a lighter wash.

At this stage in the season, I’m not looking for anything revolutionary. A cozy sweater and a beloved pair of denim is the perfect base for an everyday outfit. Bonus points if the sweater includes cute details like a puffed sleeve!

I almost didn’t post this outfit simply because it feels so basic. It’s almost an exact copy of this one, and it’s neutral to the point of almost being boring. But, that’s where the appeal comes in to play. A simple look makes those slow mornings a little easier, and it makes the gray days feel a little more comfortable. If a so-called boring look is what it takes to help me feel more like myself, then I’ll consider it a win.

One of my goals this year is to be kinder to myself. No one puts pressure on me like I do, and everything, including something as simple as drafting an outfit, can feel like a high stakes competition. This year, I’m making it a point to take things slow. If this looks like wearing the same outfit on repeat, albeit in different colors, so be it!
