Beauty Products I'm Loving Right Now

When it comes to beauty products, I’ve never been totally loyal to any particular brand. I love reading recommendations on blogs, watching beauty TikToks, and asking friends about what they’ve been loving lately. As long as it works with my super dry skin, I’m down to add new things to my beauty routine. It’s definitely not uncommon for me to switch up the brands I’m using. Especially when the seasons change and my skin’s needs change with them. Lately, I’ve been loving a few things a little extra and thought I’d share what I’ve been using. None of this is sponsored, it’s just true love.

CeraVe moisturizing cream

I just recently started using this product and I’m in love. I have pretty dry skin and finding a moisturizer that eliminates my dry patches has been quite the journey. I used to have to use two different moisturizers on top of each other, and I still had dry patches. My skin’s hydration improved drastically when I started using this moisturizer. I apply it once in the morning and again before bed and I haven’t experienced any of the tight/itchy feeling I used to get around the middle of the day. It’s unscented, comes in a giant tub for a great price, and it doesn’t break me out. I love this stuff and will use it until the end of time.

I love Glossier. It’s my go-to makeup brand and I use a lot of their products almost daily. Although I typically gravitate more towards their makeup, I’ve recently been trying out some of their skincare. Enter the famous Balm Dotcom. I’m usually super picky about my lip products. Like my moisturizers, I like my lip balms to be super hydrating but without feeling too sticky. When I tried out this hyped product, I was surprised by how much I loved it! I put this on every night before bed and it hydrates my lips perfectly.

I’ve found that when it comes to makeup, cream based products work best on my dry skin. I just started using this cream blush from Rare Beauty and I love the warm berry look it gives my cheeks. It applies evenly and gives the perfect subtle blush. A little bit of this product goes a long way, so it’s sure to last me through the year. Plus the packaging is divine. I always feel like an old Hollywood starlet when I bring out this compact.

This product has quickly become an essential step in my makeup/skincare routine. Its hydrating consistency creates the perfect base for soft and dewy makeup. I also love wearing this by itself for a minimal effort, glowing, no-makeup look. It gives my skin a little extra hydration boost without causing irritation.

I love this sunscreen for everyday, especially for when I know I’m going to be outside in the direct sun. It applies so smoothly, has no fragrance, and doesn’t irritate my dry skin. On the Trader Joe’s website it’s described as having a powdery finish, but I’ve found that it gives an almost dewy look to my skin. It’s not greasy, doesn’t highlight my dry patches, and it feels like air when applied. The higher SPF is also a plus, especially for days by the pool or at the beach.

This is the perfect brown/red for fall and winter. Lately I’ve been loving red lipsticks that lean more towards brown. This hue from Two Faced adds the perfect neutral balance to my lipstick collection, and it looks great with the browns and creams in my closet. It’s the perfect fall color with a creamy formula that stays vibrant and hydrating on my lips.

This is another lip product that I’ve been loving lately. I’m always skeptical of extremely hyped products, but after a few months of use, I have to say that this is worth the hype. It gives all of the hydrating benefits of a serious lip product while also giving the shine of your favorite lipgloss. It gives my lips a wonderful hydrated and glossy glow that is perfect for everyday wear. Because it is so glossy, it does have a stickiness to it that I don’t enjoy when I go to bed. However, it’s perfect for daytime wear! I have the Salted Caramel and its sweet scent is heavenly!
