An Outfit of Favorites

Today’s look is an outfit full of favorites! I didn’t start out the day planning an outfit like this but, as everything came together, I realized that I was craving a little extra love on this gloomy Friday.

I don’t know about you but lately, the winter weather has been getting to me. It feels like the cold has seeped through my skin to touch my soul, leaving a frosty coating over everything. My heart longs for warmer weather, longer days, and that feeling of hope that always seems to accompany spring. But the winter days drag on.

I’ll admit I’ve been tempted to let myself wallow, but this morning, I was determined to find some glimmer of joy on this February Friday.

Hence the outfit full of things I love. I knew I’d created an outfit full of favorites when I couldn’t decide on which piece was the star of the show. Is it the barrel jeans? The red boots? The vintage Jacket?

This look has reminded me that there are still things to savor in this season. It’s a little bright spot in the midst of my winter blues. However, as much as I love all of these pieces, I’m still dutifully counting down the days until spring!
