A Taste of Summer
The weather has been so lovely lately, it has felt like a taste of summer in the middle of spring. I’ve been living my best life by enjoying meals outside, taking strolls, and reading in the sunshine. Although I’ve been making a conscious effort to enjoy all that spring has to offer, days like today make it difficult to avoid skipping straight ahead to summer!
Now that it’s finally the appropriate weather, I’ve been able to pull a few of my favorites from my summer wardrobe. Most notably, cut-offs and espadrilles! Last summer was my first season with a pair of espadrilles, and I’m seriously wondering how I lived so long without them. They’re the perfect wear anywhere shoe, and they look equally stylish dressed up or down. If there’s anything that I love in a wardrobe piece, it’s versatility!
Whenever I bring out my espadrilles, I can’t help but feel like I’m fresh off of a European vacation. They just exude that Euro summer vibe.
Although I don’t have plans to travel anytime soon, this outfit brings just the right taste of summer to my otherwise mundane Friday!
