A Cozy Knit Hug
This year, I’m making it a point to love winter. Once Christmas is over, I’m over all of cold and gray days. With spring feeling so far away, I have to find all the comfort and joy where I can! At this point in the season, cozy is not only a preference, but a necessity. On days like today, the only thing I’m asking of my outfit is that it feels like a cozy knit hug.
This sweater from Aerie is one of the most comfortable sweaters I own. The knit is soft, breathable, and not itchy, and the shape makes for the perfect layering piece. I love how it melts over the waistband of these jeans.
This pair of Boyish Denim is one of my most frequently re-worn pairs. I love the loose shape, and the soft, worn-in feel. It feels like a vintage pair of jeans, but with a modern fit. Since the theme of today is comfort, a loose fitting pair of denim is essential. Bonus points for the extra soft fabric!
On cold days like today, comfort is key. Hopefully an outfit that feels like a cozy knit hug will spark some love for the season. If anything, it’s sure to make it feel more bearable!
