Take Two

If I love something, I’ll wear an almost identical version of it back to back. Something about Friday’s outfit really worked for me. It was cozy, it was moody, and it let me sink into my feelings a bit. If the weather is going to regress to winter, I might as well let the cozy winter vibes consume me once more. And, because I love to keep things simple, I’ve recreated a recent outfit with a few minor tweaks. It’s Friday’s outfit, take two.

I think that black is my absolute favorite color to wear. It makes styling so easy. Everything goes together, any spilled coffee stains are *mostly* invisible, and I always feel chic and put together.

For this outfit, I played around with the monochrome by layering a summer top over a plain turtleneck.

I knew that I loved the simplicity of Friday’s outfit, but I also wanted to add something a little extra. So, I swapped out the boots and the jewelry, and added the tube top for some texture. The result has brought a little excitement back to my winter wardrobe.

I feel like I’ve just had a burst of inspiration for winter styling, just as the season is about to change. Here’s hoping that this style mojo overflows into my spring wardrobe!
