That Summer Friday Feeling

Jeans and a t-shirt. Quite possibly the simplest combination, and easily my absolute favorite to wear. I can create different and inventive outfit combinations all day long, but I always find myself returning to this. On this first summer Friday, something easy and comfortable felt like the best way to welcome the new season.

Whenever I throw together a jeans and t-shirt outfit, my priority is comfort. If I wear an outfit like this, it’s usually because I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with style choices. That or the weather is simply too uncomfortable to think of wearing anything more complicated. Today, it was a little bit of both.

However, because it is the first weekend of the season, I thought I’d add a little flair to this otherwise basic outfit. Hence the loafers, sunglasses and baguette bag.

This look feels a bit model off duty, and the loafer offers a welcome change up from my go-to Birkenstock Madrids (although those shoes would also work beautifully here).

If you told me I could only wear one outfit for the rest of my life, this just might be it. With the possibility for switching up the accessories, of course!
